Harvest days are the busiest at Little City Gardens. “We get a few volunteers that we trust to help out,” says Brooke. “There’s so much to do and everyone needs to be able to work on their own with no hand holding.” The harvested crops will go to the local organic restaurants and farmers markets after a grueling day of picking, sorting, washing and loading.
